Missy:

Hi, guys, and welcome back to the Woo Woo Channeling Crew. I'm Missy, and normally this would be the time that you would hear, and I'm Denise. I do not have Denise with me today because I'm going to be doing a live on air reading for one of our winners. A couple of episodes ago, we had asked people to send us an email if they were interested in coming on air and having a live reading. And, the winner that we've chosen for this reading with me is Yvonne.

Missy:

So welcome Ivonne

Ivonne:

Hi, thank you so much for having me.

Missy:

Yeah, really glad that you're here. I am both a psychic intuitive and a medium, so I can be bringing through messages that provide guidance for anything that you're navigating at this point in your life, and also make connection to, loved ones that have transitioned to the other side. So when that's aligned, I will make that connection for you. I want you to ask questions along the way, if you have any. And if not, I will also give you an opportunity when we're closing up the reading to ask any last minute questions that you may have.

Ivonne:

Okay.

Missy:

And that's pretty much it. It's just going to feel like we're having a conversation, nothing else that you need to know at this point. So we'll just go ahead and get into it. Okay.

Ivonne:

Okay. Thanks.

Missy:

Awesome. As I was here, I kept hearing, you know, spirit saying to me that you need to schedule yourself in. And whenever I hear the message you need to schedule yourself in, it feels very much like take time for yourself, making sure that you're taking care of yourself first before you try to take care of other people. So the words scheduling yourself in really means that are you taking the time for yourself that you need to rest and rejuvenate or even to reward or honor yourself? So when you hear something like schedule yourself in, are you really and truly taking that time for yourself?

Ivonne:

I think, especially right now, because I'm a freelancer, I have had a lot of time for myself, but I think maybe it could mean about like scheduling time to do the things that I want to do, but I'm having trouble executing.

Missy:

Okay.

Ivonne:

That's the way I'm kind of, because right now I've been in like a self care, you know, sabbatical basically since I've been in between jobs. So maybe it's a little bit more pointed about that.

Missy:

Yeah. So I I think perhaps, like, scheduling yourself in can also be about the balance. Right? It's like, okay, I'm a freelancer, but how do I navigate trying to do both? Maybe it's finding the balance between the two of getting myself back on some sort of work routine now that I've had this time to sort of schedule myself in.

Missy:

Would that make more sense to you?

Ivonne:

Yeah, that would make more sense, yeah.

Missy:

Yeah. And I think there's this point of kind of like chasing the happiness and chasing the satisfaction and then kind of the money coming in with that rather than chasing the money, if that makes sense to you. So those are the things. Like, Not only do we need to take care of ourselves, but we gotta make sure that we're chasing things the right way. So chasing happiness, chasing satisfaction, and then when you do those things, then the money will sort of come.

Missy:

So as a freelancer, is this something that you do with writing? I'm just I I kinda just see pen to paper, like, if you're doing sort of advertising or marketing or, you know, some sort of writing. Does that make sense to you?

Ivonne:

Yes. That's exactly what I do for a career. I'm a copywriter, creative director in marketing and advertising.

Missy:

Okay. So as a freelancer, could you just expand on that for me a little bit so I can see kind of where the energy is landing for me?

Ivonne:

So I belong to sort of a collective of freelancers and they find the work to kind of slot us into based on what the client needs. And it's been really slow for a while now. And I've been sort of pressuring myself to figure out what that pivot is for me, especially in the age of AI. Like, what does that look like for me? And I'm just in a, like, black spot. I just don't know which path to choose.

Missy:

Spirit said that, like, don't chase don't chase the money. Right? Don't chase the money. Do you feel like you're sort of in this place right now where you are coming at it from a dollars and cents standpoint? Like, oh my I have these bills to pay.

Missy:

Right?

Ivonne:

Yeah.

Missy:

Yeah. Yeah. So I think this is the message of making sure that you're connecting to the satisfaction of what you do and the happiness of what you do, then the abundance sort of matches that.

Missy:

So maybe think of it in a way, the way that spirit is saying is that like, well, let's make sure again, here's this. Scheduling myself in, taking care of myself first, making sure that I'm matching the vibration of happiness within my job, and then the money will come. It's sorta like, you know, if I do what I love, then what I love will pay the bills, if that makes sense to you?

Ivonne:

Yes.

Missy:

Actually, when you talk about the freelancing and you mentioned something about AI, and as soon as you said that, I heard Spirit go, Yes, but AI cannot replace emotion. It can't, right now, replace human emotion. We've all probably tried ChatGPT or Claude or Gemini or the many ones that are out there, but it doesn't give us warmth behind So it, I think you have to really celebrate in the talent that you have regardless of AI. Can AI help you with an idea? Absolutely. Can it help you get started with something? Can it start you with a first sentence of something? Yeah. Absolutely.

Missy:

But what it can't replace is Yvonne's personality. It cannot replace really just the talent, the natural talent that you have. There's a reason why it's called artificial. Spirit's saying there's nothing about you that's artificial. I think you may find that things are going to loosen up for you in about the next couple of months.

Missy:

That's what Spirit's saying. They're showing me two to three months. It could take for you I don't wanna say get back on your feet, but maybe get back into it. I also feel like even as a as a copy editor, I think there are other things that you can do to kind of boost your exposure or the things that you do. So making sure that, you know, you're staying in touch with, like your network. So spirits talking about your network or your community because there's a lot of opportunities that are kind of funneling through there. Does that make sense to you? Like using the network?

Ivonne:

Yes. Absolutely. I've always had like a really strong sort of mentors in my life that if I reach out to them, they're very happy to, you know, work with me. And I've had a couple friends say, oh, you're a creative director. I wonder how we can use you at, you know, wherever they're working. So I'm very lucky in that respect.

Missy:

Yes. I gotta tell you, there's this I'm I'm sort of the way Spirit makes me feel. It's like a conundrum. It's like I really love the time that I have to myself, but there's this reality that, oh, wait a second. I need to get back to work.

Missy:

So I'm sort of in this, what do I do? I'm I'm I feel very in between. That's how my energy feels when I connect to you. It's like, no. I'm really liking this freedom, but at the same time, I need to be doing something.

Missy:

I need to be making things happen. But the way that I'm interpreting from Spirit is that while you're in this mode of scheduling yourself in and taking care of yourself, chasing, again, the happiness and the satisfaction from the personal, this is the best time for you to flourish professionally. And spirit shows me not waiting until your back is against the wall, right, till you come out fighting, but really now while that freedom is so abundant with you. Because when we have that freedom, this is when we become the most creative. This is when we come up with the crazy ideas that really, really work rather than somebody going, I need you to write a campaign in two days for this, or I need you to do this, you know, within a week, but this is really the best time for you.

Missy:

Spirit's showing me doors opening. So now is when the doors are gonna be opening for you and more opportunities are gonna be coming your way. I just keep hearing the words athletic gear. I don't know why I hear that, but I'm wondering if you've ever done anything in that like, with that brand or So tell me a little bit more about copy editing.

Missy:

I don't really understand it. What, what is that?

Ivonne:

So copywriting, is the, you know, technical role or whatever. It's just basically the person that does the messaging, the communication, the writing of, of any type of brand or product, right? So like the copy on their website, the copy and tone of their, of their brand, how they speak on social media. That's kind of the the work of it. What I enjoyed the most of it was coming up with the ideas.

Ivonne:

I come up with I have like just almost like a, I don't know, a doorway where ideas just come to me all the time, all the time, all the time. My notes app is just full of ideas. And sometimes, especially right now, because I don't have a client to work with, I'm just trying to make the idea sort of an idea as a pitch and then have the client come to me. That's kind of where I've landed, where I want to write these ideas and have them out there and see if I can sell them Right.

Missy:

And maybe, yeah, and maybe that matches with the message of the open the door, right? You're kind of opening the doors of opportunity rather than waiting for the doors to open for you. So again, great time for you to be engaged in the creative side of things, and maybe that will start to open the doors for you. Sorry, I just keep circling. I'm writing athletic gear down.

Missy:

There's something about athletic wear, athletic gear. They just showed me golf clubs, which I don't know if you know anything about golfing.

Ivonne:

Not a thing. Not a thing.

Missy:

They just showed me golf clubs, so it could be something that you're gonna be, you know, writing something for a golf club brand, maybe a women's athletic wear as it relates to golf community or golf wear for women, but there's something around that idea. Maybe you wanna just put a little asterisk or jot that down in your notes. They also show me restaurants. So I'm seeing the menus, opening up, you know, like a menu opening up that is kind of my similar sign for something to mean restaurants. So it's very possible you could be doing some work around restaurants as well.

Missy:

Have you ever done any work in that area?

Ivonne:

No, no. With athletics, I did work for like for gym, for a gym and doing gym copies. So in athletics, I guess that would be sort of tangential or adjacent, but not athletic gear.

Missy:

Yeah. Yeah. I think so. When I say gear, and then they show me golf clubs, it it could be that you're I don't know. Maybe you're doing something for Taylor Made.

Missy:

Maybe you're doing something for Adidas. Maybe there's a bigger brand coming to you. That's just kind of the way that it feels for me, but then there's also something about a restaurant. It's very interesting too that I'm also feeling something and hearing something around small businesses, women owned small businesses. So a lot of times I want you to understand that when women start businesses, they don't always have, like, the money to spend on, you know, marketing or advertising or the copywriting or anything that is that you do.

Missy:

So I I would start to maybe research a little bit about small businesses, women owned small businesses. I really feel like and I hate to say this, but I really feel like your days of like rest and, you know, relaxation and, you know, kind of doing what you want to do when you wake up in the morning, not that you don't work or do other things. Yeah. I feel like it's going to be coming to a close. I feel like, you know, you're gonna be to the wall with things and you're gonna start to get very busy.

Missy:

That's the way that it feels. I did. I feel like you're gonna be doing more of the creative side of things than maybe the copywriting. I just feel like Spirit keeps showing me kind of more creative. So they show me you sitting at a craft table.

Missy:

Would that make sense to you?

Ivonne:

Yes, absolutely. I do craft

Missy:

Are you a craft?

Ivonne:

I do craft. Okay.

Missy:

Yeah. So, you know, that's just, what they showed me. You know, not that you're making pot holders, although there's nothing wrong with making pot holders, but it's just, it's what really kind of spirit says floats your boat. You know? It's when we engage in an activity where we lose all sense of time, then it becomes the passion.

Missy:

So Spirit is showing me that the creative side is more the passion than the actual copywriting side. To be honest with you, the copywriting side for me, I feel bored as if

Ivonne:

Amen.

Missy:

Like, been there, done that, now what? Right? I feel like what Spirit's trying to do is really open up and give you challenges, because I I think if you're not challenged and not that, you know, your talent in what you do comes very easy to you, but you still have to be, you know, challenged in some sort of way, and I feel like just where you are, is why I think there's this almost a holding off of rushing back in to do something like full time again is because of the boredom and the lackluster. They call it a stagnancy. I almost feel a little bit stale about, really, is this it? You know, that kind of thing. So that's why I think spirit is showing you different ways that you can do things, but definitely inviting in more of the creative side. Make sense?

Ivonne:

Yes, absolutely. Yes. I have been very bored with my, you know, copywriting role for a while.

Missy:

So sometimes that boredom comes in to get you to sort of wake up a little bit and then to question, okay, now what? What can I do now, or how can I expand on the gifts and the talents that I already have, and how can I help people in different ways that maybe I haven't thought of before? You have this ability to sort of put people at ease, but to also make them feel like I got this. You, you know, you tell me what to do.

Missy:

I'm going to take the ball and I'm going to run with it. And I got this. If I have any questions, you know, I'll, I'll come back to you. Spirit says you don't like to be micromanaged. So they show me that you don't like anybody like over your shoulder. Did you get it done yet? Is it done yet? How far are you? You know, is there anything else that you need from the, you know what I mean?

Ivonne:

It's very true.

Missy:

Because I think that interrupts your creative process, right? You, you get into the flow of something and then you have somebody going, well, how far are you? Spirit's just saying, You have to be able to get into the flow of things, and that's when you're most creative. It's interesting too. Spirit shows me you're most creative. I don't know why they're showing me this, but this is what Spirit's showing me. Most creative when you're, like, in sweats and a sweatshirt. So when you're the most relaxed, it's like, you know, sweatshirt, you know, shorts or whatever. That's when you're most relaxed. Maybe get into that mode.

Missy:

Go back to spirit says go back to basics kind of of, you know, who you are, you know, what makes you feel most comfortable, but just get back to the the basic. Spirit says don't overthink it. So just be you. Be comfortable. Don't force anything.

Missy:

If you put the pressure on yourself that I've to sit down and I've got to write or I've got to create and I've got to do it for two hours a day, It's not going to happen for you. You may get the inspiration at 09:00 at night. You may get the inspiration at 5AM in the morning. You may get it in the middle of the afternoon, but spirit says to honor the inspiration when it shows up for you. Does that, does that make sense?

Ivonne:

Yes, absolutely.

Missy:

Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Where do you, how do you connect with the month of September on your mother's side of the family?

Ivonne:

That's my mother's birthday.

Missy:

Okay. Is your mother on the other side?

Ivonne:

No, she's here.

Missy:

Oh, okay. Not yet. Okay. Again, this connects to your mom's side, so I'm gonna try to see if I can get some more information, but as you understand, they were connecting me to mom. That's how they brought up the month of September, okay?

Missy:

And then where does Is there a letter H that kind of comes into play with mom's side of the family that would relate to, it feels very much like grandmother to me, grandmother energy.

Ivonne:

She wasn't an H name, no.

Missy:

Okay. Does it, does it sound like a, you know, when I say H, I'm interpreting it as like a, it can also be a J that's said like an

Ivonne:

H, if that makes sense to you. And then where does the month of July come in?

Ivonne:

I have no idea.

Missy:

Okay. That's okay. I'm just going to circle it. It may be an opportunity for us to come back to it. Um mom on the other side, your grandmother?

Ivonne:

Yes.

Missy:

Okay. I feel like this is who is stepping forward. I'm going to see if I can get some more details from her. She is having me circle the month of July, so I want to make sure that I'm not misunderstanding that this could be a connection to her husband, like your grandfather that's on the other side, or it could be an anniversary of some sort.

Ivonne:

I don't know their birthdays or when they died or their anniversary.

Missy:

I don't Would you just do me a favor and maybe jot down the month of July? July. Yes. Maybe ask mom about that to help validate that you have, you know, your mom's mom stepping forward, you know, grandmother. How well did you know her?

Missy:

Because I guess I'm asking that because if I'm bringing more details forward, I want us to be able to at least validate some of it.

Ivonne:

Yeah. I knew her up until the age I was nine when she passed, and she cared for me a lot when I was young.

Missy:

Okay. That's fine. Yeah. I mean, sometimes people know date you know, the birth date. Sometimes they know departure dates, but I just love that she connected me to your mom.

Missy:

That's how I really feel like she keeps kind of putting her hand on my back and like you would comfort somebody and go, There, there, it's okay. And her hand's sort of moving around in circles on my back. So she's a very comforting woman to me. Mhmm. I also feel like she feels, I don't wanna say the word withdrawn, but almost to herself or a little a little bit quiet for me.

Missy:

So as she comes forward, I don't wanna call her timid, but that's the best word I can think of. It's like, should I? Shouldn't I? I don't know. I'm not really sure.

Missy:

You know, I there's just this maybe a reluctancy to sort of step fully forward with me, so I don't want to yank her and make her step forward, but I'm definitely trying to, as I'm having a conversation with her, ease her mind that it is okay to step forward. So let me also ask you this question. Did did grandmother come from, like, a religious background?

Ivonne:

Yes. I was just gonna say maybe because she's Catholic.

Missy:

Yeah. So that's that's kind of what I'm getting at is sort of this there's this timid feeling to her, And I know that she's she sort of steps forward, then she steps back, and then she steps forward, and then she steps back. I I won't yank her forward, as I said. I won't make her come forward. But I think for you just to know that she's here, it shows me maybe a little bit that she's letting her guards down or maybe kind of looking at this a little bit differently, Oh, wait a second.

Missy:

You know, this is a real thing. And, but I I feel like that reluctancy is maybe due to maybe the way that that she was raised and and being Catholic and very much she calls herself, like, a staunch, like, very, like, rosary every day, that kind of Catholic.

Ivonne:

Yes.

Missy:

Does that make sense

Ivonne:

Yeah. She was very religious.

Missy:

Yeah. It's interesting because she just said, I'm sorry. And I thought, Well, what are you sorry for? And she's like, I'm not used to this, which I don't think I've ever heard that in a reading before, but she just said, Almost like I didn't realize I could do this. But very sweet woman, very respectful of me.

Missy:

I have some people that kind of kick the door in, but she is actually very respectful to me. Is there something about the sharing of a name or like a middle name that's kind of carried or something about a name being carried in the generations, like grandmother to mother to you or to sister. Can you can you shed a little more light on that? Because she's talking about kind of the sharing of the name or something about same name.

Ivonne:

Yes. So my mom's sister, her twin sister was named after my grandmother.

Missy:

Okay.

Ivonne:

First name. So my grandmother and her have the same first name and my mother was named after my dad. I'm sorry. My grandfather's mother's sister.

Missy:

Okay.

Ivonne:

And they have the same name. Okay. So I don't know if that

Missy:

No, could no, it's all making sense because I, you know, once the door opens and one steps forward, then they sort of will take turns stepping forward for me. So I just keep getting the kind of the different energy talking about the carrying on of a name and how honorable that feels or, you know, feeling honored that these things are are carried forward. And then where does do you do you have a connection to the month of February?

Ivonne:

No.

Missy:

Okay.

Ivonne:

That that comes immediately to my February. That's my uncle's birthday. He's still alive.

Missy:

He's still alive. So do you understand that this would be your grandmother's son, correct? Yes. Okay. So do you understand what she's doing?

Missy:

She's connecting me to the people in the family. So we've got mother, September, father, or brother, February. So this is all that she's doing. I think one of the things I mentioned to you off air was that sometimes I'm drawn a family tree and they start to just connect me. They use themselves as kind of you know, one of the pieces and then start to draw me who they are connected to.

Missy:

So that makes sense to me why she's also now that your grandmother is also, connecting me to the month of February. I'm not getting your grandmother's first name. Would you mind sharing it with me?

Ivonne:

Sure. It's Irma, I r m a.

Missy:

Okay. Do you remember when I kept getting like a like a Like, wonder if she was going Irma, but I don't think so. Irma. Yeah. It was interesting of how she just yeah.

Missy:

I don't I'm not trying to make that fit into anything, but I just keep feeling that there's an H connection somewhere. It sounds very much like a h, but also I want to make sure that I'm honoring sometimes Js are pronounced like jalapeno, like that. I So wanna make sure that I'm not misunderstanding the h as a j.

Ivonne:

Yeah. No. There's nobody j.

Missy:

Okay. That's fine. And Again, don't know. What what did you say?

Ivonne:

It yeah. That sound like the J, the like a Jose or a Juan or something.

Missy:

Yeah. Like, it sounded sorta like that to me.

Ivonne:

Yeah. No. My dad's who is past is Juan David.

Missy:

Okay. Thank you. Yep. So it was probably your dad that was stepping forward first, to be honest with you, when I kept hearing the right? But then right away, the first thing was mom, month of September.

Missy:

And then I heard the h sound or the H sounding name. So I want to give your father an opportunity to step forward. Was there anything to do with lungs? Any like respiratory lung, difficulty breathing? I feel like my breathing is a little labored at this point.

Ivonne:

My well, I know my dad passed in sort of, you know, like body failure pretty much.

Missy:

Yeah.

Ivonne:

And my grandmother, she passed from cancer. Started in the pancreas, metastasized to her liver.

Missy:

Yeah. So all of this feeling that I'm kinda getting throughout my body is then it just takes me to kind of this labored breathing as if maybe that was the last thing. But I I don't wanna connect to that 100%. It's just the way that I'm feeling. Yeah.

Missy:

You know, with your dad, he sorta kinda goes, he takes his hand and he's showing me kind of going like down, down, down, down, and then gone, as if it happened very quickly or wasn't expected to go as quickly as he did. It just, man, it came on all at once. I feel like nobody had time to prepare for anything. It's like, did everybody know where the papers were? Did everybody know what they needed to do?

Missy:

Did everybody It was this worry that he had that I feel like I'm experiencing now of I hope everyone is okay. And it just feels very much like he feels like he left everybody scrambling. He uses the word scrambling for me, you know, the the bills and this and that. And and I just feel like he was very concerned, about that. So does that make any sense to you that he would be kind of worried about those things?

Ivonne:

I didn't have, like, a lot of communication with my dad

Missy:

Okay.

Ivonne:

There at the end. But I was communicating with my brother because he was in Guatemala, and my brother was in Guatemala. My half brother was taking care of everything. And it was sort of frantic. You know, he went into the hospital. He had to leave the hospital. You know, he needed money from us, me and my other half brother in The States. So there was maybe a lot of that type of chaos.

Missy:

Yeah, I think that's how I'm feeling. Everything felt really chaotic for me. So I think this is his validation that he was aware that his condition or everything that was going on created sort of this panic or frantic energy, chaotic energy within the family.

Ivonne:

Correct. Yeah.

Missy:

I guess there's this piece of your dad that just it's almost like he wants to apologize that I caused the chaos or that I caused this, but then there's the awareness, like, what was I supposed to do? Right? Right. Do you know if you can validate this? Was there somebody near him that gave him permission to sort of let go?

Missy:

Like, it's okay. You know? You you can go. It's you don't have to hang on anymore because I just feel like he was sort of stubborn in a way that just did not want to give up even though the physical body was really man, the the physical body was really going through it, but there there was this part of his spirit that did not want to let go. And he makes it seem to me that it was something someone said, like a discussion or words that someone said, it's okay.

Missy:

Like, you you can go. You you know, there isn't anything else you need to do. We've got it. We're going to be fine. I feel like he needed that reassurance, and he's sharing with me that that's kind of the conversation that took place.

Ivonne:

It's very possible, but I I wouldn't know because I wasn't there, but I did I do remember, and maybe this might be some part of it. I told my half brother to make sure that my dad knew that I forgave him before he passed. Because I didn't want that weighing on him.

Missy:

Yeah. And I, and I think this is, you know, maybe that's part of the hanging on that I feel, like, towards the end, like, really needing to hang on, and it could very well have been your sharing with your half brother to share with him, hey. You know, you've been forgiven. It's okay to let go. You you know, it's whatever it may be.

Missy:

I hope that is the case. It's kind of difficult to truly validate that without having half brother kind of on this with us. But I really believe that him receiving your forgiveness, the way that he's making me feel is it was like it was waiting to exhale. It was like the one thing that he needed to hear or the one thing that he needed to feel in order to be able to let go and allow his his soul to truly make the transition or make the final transition. Because like I said, there was this stubbornness about him that just was not going to let go.

Missy:

Can I ask you, did his mother predecease him? Did she die before him?

Ivonne:

Yes.

Missy:

Yeah. Because he keeps talking about his mother coming to him and saying, come on. It's time to go. So she keeps doing that with me. And then where does the month of December fall?

Ivonne:

It's my birthday.

Missy:

Okay. So do you understand? And my cousin's birthday. Okay. Dad's just acknowledging you at this point.

Missy:

You know, we're talking about you, so wanting to acknowledge, obviously your birthday. Or, you know, that's you like I said, they usually give me kind of months around that. And then, where does

Ivonne:

the month of April fall? That's his son's birthday. That's my brother that lives in The States.

Missy:

Okay. So do you understand he's acknowledging both of you? Okay? There's something about that month of July. Sorry, it just came up again, and I'm not really sure what that is, but please just jot that down again.

Missy:

Is there anything that you wanna ask your dad? It's a loaded question, right?

Ivonne:

I know.

Missy:

Go ahead. Go back over your life in, you know, a minute.

Ivonne:

Like, does he does he take accountability for what, like our relationship or lack thereof.

Missy:

I'm gonna tell you the first thing that he said to me, it takes two to tango.

Ivonne:

So him.

Missy:

Okay. So that's the first thing he said was it takes two to tango. So that makes me feel when I hear that, that I think he's still sort of working through some things on the other side, you know, coming to terms with the relationship. But there is also this, but you have a responsibility too. It's sort of I I mean, I hate to say it that way, like, like, oh, he's, like, pointing the finger back at you going, yeah, but it takes two to tango.

Missy:

So like he's saying, we had to meet each other halfway. Right? And he's thinking, but I'm going halfway and you're thinking he should come the whole way. That's showing it to me. Right?

Missy:

So that's a really tough question to answer because I just don't get him fully saying, yes, it's all my fault. I'd be very surprised if if you got that. That's why he started with it takes to to tango. Yeah. So I think we just have to let him keep working through what he needs to and, you know, going through that review of his life and hopefully he's learning and evolving and, you know, that's what, you know, what we can hope for.

Missy:

What's the working with the hands? Can I ask if he did anything mechanical or electrical?

Ivonne:

No. He was a violinist. It does require his hands, though.

Missy:

Oh, okay. Usually when somebody shows me them always with their hands or working with their hands, it usually for me means maybe mechanical or electrical, but that would make sense to me that he was a violinist. Yes. That's amazing. I love that.

Missy:

One of the best things that we can do for our loved ones on the other side is to offer love and healing. I'm just glad that he stepped forward for you today, even if he said it takes two to tango.

Ivonne:

Told him not to come today because he, you know, just always takes up all the time with mediums. And I'm like, I don't wanna hear from you. I wanna hear from other people. Yeah. And there he is again.

Missy:

Know, but I think this is part of him wanting fully the forgiveness or the fact that he's showing you, I'm not just coming halfway anymore. I'm coming all the way to you. Right? So this is part of his healing journey and you're a part of his healing journey because of the relationship or lack thereof that the two of you had. Honestly, he just said two peas in a pod, that you're very much alike in temperament at times.

Missy:

Right? I think that there's probably some times that your stubbornness has really served you well, and there are times that the stubbornness hasn't served us so well. And I think he understands that. You know, I like that he stepped forward for you, and if he keeps stepping forward, all I can tell you is that for some reason, he keeps showing up for you. That's an excellent even if it's in spirit, I think we have to hang onto the message of, They're showing up for me.

Missy:

They're everywhere, all the time, all at once. I always say it's omnipresent. Everywhere, all the time, all at once. No matter what you're going through, what you're thinking, what you're feeling, what you're going to do, what you're doing, they're a part of all of it and they want nothing but the very best for you. And maybe him showing up all these times, always stepping forward, he's just trying to make up for lost time.

Missy:

And so I'm really happy to give him the space to do that. And I think it's really beautiful of you that even though, dad, stop sitting here, I I do think it's really beautiful of you to still welcome him and show the love, that you have for him. So thank you for meeting him halfway. Because I think he's really trying at this point. Yeah.

Missy:

Okay. Are there any other questions that you have before we, wrap up?

Ivonne:

I have a question. I have a couple questions, actually. I have a question for my cousin who passed of cancer.

Missy:

Okay.

Ivonne:

Do you need her name or do you wanna know anything about her? What is the question that you had? My question is, does she feel I did right by her children in regards to their first stepmother.

Missy:

So let me based on what you're saying, I want to understand that after she passed away, then her husband got remarried?

Ivonne:

Yes.

Missy:

Was it very quickly thereafter?

Ivonne:

Yes.

Missy:

Yeah. So she said very quickly to me. One of the things that she says is that she feels like nobody had time to truly grieve, like the children maybe didn't have time to fully accept what was going on before another person kind of came into the picture. Was this actually, was this a friend of hers?

Ivonne:

Yes.

Missy:

Okay.

Missy:

Yeah. She just said, I'm going to tell you what she said. Friend, not a friend. Okay. Think she said it I think it put you, like, between a rock and a hard spot.

Missy:

Right? It's like you wanna support the children, but at the same time, you didn't accept the actions of her husband. It feels like that to me. And I think all she's asking you right now to do is to support the children. You don't necessarily have to support that relationship.

Missy:

Does that make sense to me why she's that way? It's not like look. She's not trying to get you to pick sides. She's not. She said the most it's like the kids are collateral damage.

Missy:

That's exactly what she said to me. They're like collateral damage. It's like you were really the only one there that kind of helped pick up the pieces of a life that kind of felt very shattered. Mhmm. And so and so he sort of filled the void.

Missy:

That's what she's saying. And so I think whatever action that you whatever you were able to do, she knows that you did it out of love for her and the children. Mhmm. Rather, it was right or wrong. I don't think she wants she just says, I don't wanna worry about what was right and what was wrong.

Missy:

I'm only concerned about my children. So if showing for support for the children is to try to respect the new relationship and that's what you showed, then you're still doing right. Do you understand that?

Ivonne:

Yeah. Yeah. And he's not with that person anymore. He moved on.

Missy:

But but do you understand, like, it was Yeah. Now you understand why she said to fill a void, and nobody really had this chance to grieve. But I I think that did you actually tell her off?

Ivonne:

The girl? The woman? No. Not her face. I mean, her sister told the girl off, but

Missy:

Okay. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. And maybe that's what she's referring to because she keeps going to me, Oh my God.

Missy:

She got an earful. You know? So it's almost like she feels a little vindicated. You know what I So I just want you to understand the most important thing are the children. That's all she really cares about.

Missy:

Would any one of those kids connect to July? I don't think I don't know. I don't think so. I don't think their birthdays in July.

Ivonne:

I'm like, where's July? I'm gonna find it. I'm gonna find it. Gonna call my mom and be like

Missy:

still trying to figure out what July is. But anyways, I do have to wrap this up. I hope that you've found some guidance, you know, from today. Got to hear from dad, got to hear a little bit from grandma, and your cousin certainly giving us a little bit of information, you know, as well.
